The Young Learns Africa Foundation (YLAF) is a multi-project, educational-based nonprofit organization that aims to end educational poverty, promote girl education, and enhance community and peacebuilding in South Sudan and around the neighboring African nations. Also, YLAF has an online digital library available to everyone and wherever there is access to the internet. We bring books to the hard-to-reach areas of our world by making them available online at no cost. Our foundation empowers young ones to learn.

What We Do
Our efforts go beyond educational assistance. YLAF’s principal focus is humanitarian aid, and its target areas are as follows:
- Providing necessities of life such as food, clean water, clothes, and shelter to girls and women in South Sudan and other African countries.
- Offering books, equipment, educational aids, and other assistance to girls and women in South Sudan and other African countries.
- Giving healthcare help to girls and women in need in South Sudan and other African nations by providing access to connected health services, counseling, information, or group support programs.
- Participating in community economic development activities that help women attain self-sufficiency.
- Advocating for the abolition of forced and underage marriage in South Sudan and other African countries.
- Providing a safe place for girls and women who are victims of GBV.
